The BB Report, New York (Season 2) | MCU Location Scout

I must say, your coverage of my campaign was spot on.

The BB Report is an In-Universe video report (maybe released through a platform like YouTube) that acts as a counterpoint to the events of the series by showing what average New Yorkers think about crime, vigilantes, and the election of Mayor Fisk. This feature returns for Season 2. Locations for Season 1 BB Reports can be found at this link. An additional perk this season is an underground report made by a person disguised in a Wilson Fisk costume. These Fisk Reports are meant to expose the hypocrisy of the real BB Reports, highlighting “the truth.”

This “man on the street” style of news reports was probably captured by a 2nd Unit. They filmed footage for these reports as well as some of the other “interstitial” shots that show views around the City, which makes it equally easier and harder to find some of these locations. There are some additional shots in these reports that are not documented here because they are too generic to identify with any confidence.

Episode 1 – Report 13

DUMBO – Several shots of the Brooklyn Bridge and the East River open the second season.

LONG ISLAND CITY – Everyone seems so happy with Mayor Fisk’s safer street initiatives, including the young child high-fiving the AVTF officer and the man being interviewed. This was filmed in Rafferty Triangle, just off Hunter Street in Queens.

Episode 1 – Report 14

DUMBO – This couple comments on what should be done with vigilantes and terrorists as they stand in front of the sinking Northern Star cargo ship. They are standing on the Brooklyn Bridge Park Pier 3 Plaza. The image of the water is part of the Pier 4 Beach just south of their location.

CHINATOWN – AVTF Agents are shown hanging out in public in their full riot gear. This sequence was shot on Lafayette Street between Walker and White Streets. The rightmost building in the second image is the old Engine 3 Firehouse.

Episode 1 – Fisk Report 1

LONG ISLAND CITY – The Fisk Report opens with an extended shot from the first BB Report, revealing a vulgar piece of graffiti. This was also filmed in Rafferty Triangle, where the BB Report sequence above was.

BROOKLYN NAVAL YARDS – A visual of Fisk’s “evil” freeport appears during the unhinged speech of the report. This depiction of Fisk’s warehouse is different from the one in Season 1. This is the Agger Fish Building at the Brooklyn Naval Yard,
