I don’t think you want a white woman screaming about a Black man trying to force his way into her hotel room.
Exterior
Having investigated Addison’s widow at the Hooverville, Robbie finds her at the “whites only” Geoffrey Hotel. Ben comes to talk to Vera in the following episode.
The Hotel Per La, at 649 S Olive Street, served as the front of this hotel. Robbie approaches via the West 7th Street side of the building, with 516 W 7th Street behind him.

Winston and Gio
The reverse angle of Winston and Gio in their car, watching Ben exit the hotel in episode 3, was not filmed in Downtown LA. Instead, it was shot on the Warner Bros. New York Street in Burbank.

Alley
Since he can’t get in the front way, Robbie tips a bellboy, who is smoking in the alley, to let him inside.
The alley is just west of the hotel entrance on the W 7th Street side. The view outside the alley (across the street) has been altered with a digital matte painting of an era-appropriate storefront.
Interior
Robbie has a sit-down with Vera Addison in an attempt to find out more about James’s powers and who might have hired him to torch Silvermane’s mansion.
The room does look very much like the rooms (and hallway) pictured for the hotel, other than its garish color. If the production was allowed to film in a room at the hotel, which probably required a paint job on the room, it was on the S. Olive Street side (as evidenced by the building outside the window). If not, it was an amazingly faithful recreation of the hotel architecture.
