Daredevil and Jessica Jones have the 15th Precinct in Hell’s Kitchen, while Luke Cage and his friends deal with the 29th Precinct.

LUKE CAGE SEASON 1

Offices

The first introduction to the 29th Precinct comes in episode 2 with Detectives Misty Knight and Rafael Scarfe investigating a murder. These offices were the primary location in the precinct for the series and would return in The Defenders as well as Season 2. The hallway and the offices were filmed inside the Broadway Stages on N Henry Street in Brooklyn.

Evidence Locker

In episode 5, Scarfe pays off another officer and steals Stokes’ weapons from the NYPD evidence locker.

This location, which is probably not a part of the In-Universe 29th Precinct, features Scarfe driving a non-descript white van away from the facility. This was filmed outside Railroad Studios, a section of the Getty Terminal and part of Broadway Stages’ expanding locations.

Front Entrance

Episode 7 features the first shot of the exterior of the 29th Precinct as Cornell Stokes is released from custody to a mob of television cameras. Subsequent episodes feature Mariah giving impromptu press conferences, attempting to bend the public to her perception of events.

An old school building on Dobbin Street at the corner of Nassau Avenue was used for all the exterior shots of the 29th Precinct.

Misty interrogates Jessica at the 29th Precinct until Matt Murdock shows up as her lawyer.

This interrogation room is presumed to have been filmed in the soundstages of Broadway Studios.

All the compatriots of The Defenders are brought into the 29th Precinct for protection against the forces of the Hand. The interior of the station was built on the premise of the Broadway Stages off N. Henry Street in Greenpoint.
