New York City (1933) [Warner Bros] | MCU Location Scout

Robbie exiting a subway in Harlem.

As God is my witness, you’ll never go thirsty again.

Spider-Noir was filmed on the backlots of two major studios, Warner Bros. and Universal Studios. Warner Bros. has two separate backlots, the smaller neighborhood area called Hennesey Street and the more metropolitan New York Street. This is the latter. The New York Street backlot was used for many locations in the first season of Agent Carter.

Lexington-23rd Subway Station (Episode 1)

Robbie exits a subway at Lexington and 23rd, according to the signage, and heads off to meet with Ben.

There are only two backlots in the Los Angeles area with an actual subway exit that can be walked out of: one on the Paramount Studios backlot and the other here, on the Warner Bros. New York Street. This also served as the Harlem subway stop as seen below.

Basement Bar, New York (Episode 1)

In the latter half of episode 1, Ben meets with Donegal in a bar. It was initially believed to be the same location as the Red Bar, seen at the beginning of the episode, mainly due to the redheaded woman, Gertrude, being present. But the interior is not the same, and Ben doesn’t enter the bar from the street, but through a back alley.

This back alley is part of the New York Street backlot at Warner Bros. Studios, and is nestled next to the theater, across the street from the subway entrance.

Mayor Morris’s Speech, New York (Episode 2)

Mayor Morris holds a stump speech for his re-election campaign, while Ben and Robbie stand back and observe.

The building behind Mayor Morris is the same one seen in the shots when Robbie exits the subway, with the subway exit being to the right side of frame. Ben and Robbie hang out under the theater awning, identified as the Angel Theater by a poster behind them.

Subway Station, Harlem (Episode 4)

In episode 4, Robbie once again exits a subway, but this time in Harlem.

The same subway exit as seen in episode 1 was used here. This time, the focus shows the Harlem Theater behind Robbie.
