Ben is taken to Doctor Faber’s private lab to undergo “treatments” so she can discover why his powers aren’t killing him in the same way as the other affected POWs, which include her son Ogden.

Late in the episode, Silvermane and his powered friends arrive to procure her secrets. Their arrival was filmed at San Pedro’s Fort McArthur Museum. Their arrival takes place by the tunnel entrances to Battery Farley and Battery Osgood, two of the cannon emplacements built during World War II for the defense of the Pacific.
