Many period productions shoot their hospital sequences in Downtown LA around the old General Hospital Building and USC Medical Center. But not this one! The distinctive morgue lockers, along with the arch in the stairway, led to the discovery of the old hospital locations on the Campus South area of Cal Poly Pomona. This was once the site of a residential healthcare facility for the developmentally disabled, which sits on 300 acres, and includes the Acute Hospital (this location, off State Street) plus other buildings, industrial areas, and homes. Fans of Agents of SHIELD locations will recognize parts of the campus from the Watchdog storyline in Season 3 and as the HYDRA Cultivation Center in the Framework from Season 4.
