Establishing Shots

Talbot decides to park his alien spaceship on top of several buildings in downtown Chicago. The alien spacecraft was digitally added to digitally altered footage of Chicago’s East Side. Anyone from ChiTown knows this looks all sorts of wrong, with the buildings above being a piece of footage that has been flipped left to right.

Intersection

Talbot lands in a city intersection searching for more Gravitonium. When Daisy arrives, she and Talbot have their knock-down, drag-out battle royale around this intersection.

The downtown footage was shot around October 2017 (as seen on Google Maps) and took place around Wilshire Boulevard at S. Hope Street. Daisy is seen running towards S. Grand Avenue along Wilshire when she charges Talbot later in the fight. Based on signage in the episode, this intersection is supposed to be Jackson Boulevard and S Franklin Street in Chicago, which has a very similar look.

High-Rise Building

Mack takes Fitz and May into a high-rise building to save people who may be trapped. They run up a flight of stairs.

The stairs appear to be part of a real, unknown building, while the room they enter to save Polly and Robin was built on a soundstage.

Street

In episode 8, Voss shares a video recovered from an old hard drive of Daisy exiting a Quinjet. She was never seen again. Audiences had to wait until the season finale to see the scene play out for real.

This footage was shot in Culver City behind the Arc Light Cinemas, at Van Buren Place & A Street.
