Talbot Meets Hunter

Early in the episode, Lance Hunter is picked up after the accident outside the government warehouse and dropped off in this field. General Talbot arrives and takes the mercenary on a little helicopter ride to discuss his loyalties.

Coulson Meets Talbot

Later in the episode, Hunter makes arrangements to meet again with Talbot. But this time, Coulson takes the meeting instead. The new Director of SHIELD lets the General know that they are on the same side and he needs to back off. A decloaking Quinjet and Globemaster might also add some menace to Coulson’s request.

While the exactness of both these locations has not been determined, the probability is high that both were filmed at the Golden Oak Ranch in Newhall, where the foliage and trees are so distinctive.
