Exterior

Daredevil follows Tower’s advice and stakes out a heroin distribution joint in Chinatown, fronting as a Chinese laundry, in order to get to The Blacksmith.

This exterior is filmed in the alley behind Reis Studios, with the guard walking in from the 44th Avenue side. This back alley was used in Season 1 as a rainy loading dock meeting between Daredevil and Ben Urich outside the New York Bulletin. The rooftop of Reis Studios was used earlier in this season as the location where Frank chained Daredevil to a chimney.

The interiors appear to have been filmed in a real (or near-real) dry cleaners–with the exception of the basement with Madame Gao, which is probably a third location. At this time, this location cannot be identified.
