Frank Castle is checked into Ryker’s Island and escorted by Officer Olsky to meet a very special prisoner–one Wilson Fisk. The following episode features a flashback on how Fisk entered prison, plus the deal he offers Frank. In episode 10, Matt visits Fisk in jail and manages to get the big man riled up a bit.

This location is a little difficult to get confirmation about, since there are not a lot of images of the inside of the Queens Detention Complex in Kew Gardens. However, it has been used in several productions, including an episode of the television series Gotham.

DAREDEVIL SEASON 3

This season found a new location to film the incarceration of Wilson Fisk and others. The Arthur Kill Correctional Facility on Staten Island (now part of Broadway Stages’ list of locations) served as the Penitentiary where Wilson Fisk is attacked and Matt later investigates. Episode 4 includes an 11-minute, continuous take of Matt being attacked by inmates and guards, before meeting with Albanian mafia leader Vic.
