Wappinger Falls, Dutchess County | MCU Location Scout

View of upstate New York county highway with exit sign for Wappinger Falls.

Wappinger Falls will not e-mail or fax records.

Jessica, unable to get any information from the Wappinger Falls Police Deaprtment on a missing boy, Nathan Silva, she decides to travel upstate with Trish to get answers on Gregory Sallinger’s past.

Highway Bridge

The first shot of the travel sequence includes this highway bridge. It turns out to be a piece of stock footage identified only as a “New Jersey highway” on any site that hosts it. Fortunately, some related footage had another drone shot in it showing part of a water tower with the phrase “Welcome to Wanaque.” This is a section of I-287 through Wanaque, New Jersey (which is certainly close enough to the look of upstate New York to work).

Highway Off/On Ramp

The second image is a closer look at a highway with an on/off ramp. This is the southbound Saw Mill River Parkway at Ashford Avenue in Dobbs Ferry. It was discovered while looking around for the Motel, listed below.

Wappinger Falls Exit 17

The shot of the highway below and at the top of the page, with the sign for Exit 17, is also part of the Saw Mill Parkway in Dobbs Ferry. The sign really is for Exit 17, and is about a mile before Ashford Avenue on the northbound travel lines, right by the location of the Motel, seen below.
