HYDRA R&D Site Exterior

Fitz, Simmons & Yo-Yo infiltrate this ex-HYDRA facility in an attempt to stop Ruby from getting her hands on the particle infusion device.

The production returned to the Kimberlina Power Plant on Placerita Canyon Road in Santa Clarita for the exteriors of this sequence. This location served as a particle accelerator complex in Utah in Season 1, and was both a Roxxon facility and the Manfredi Waste Management plant in Agent Carter. The two towers in the final image, which Yo-Yo is looking at, have been digitally added.

When the Zephyr lands to provide assistance, the background image, presumably from some stock footage, is of the Shell Haven refinery in Essex, England. Some other digital magic appears to have added some fields near the landing zone.

Gravitonium Blast

After Ruby is killed by Yo-Yo, the gravitonium blasts out of her, creating a gigantic shockwave. An additional piece of stock footage of the Holborn Europa Refinery in Hamburg was used to illustrate this blast.

Particle Infusion Chamber Room

Once Fitz, Simmons & Yo-Yo enter this ex-HYDRA facility, they are met with resistance from The Superior, who continues to thwart their plans. The hallway and the room with the particle infusion chamber were created on the soundstages of Culver Studios.
