I must say, your coverage of my campaign was spot on.
The BB Report is an In-Universe video report (maybe released through a platform like YouTube) that acts as a counterpoint to the events of the series by showing what average New Yorkers think about crime, vigilantes, and the election of Mayor Fisk. There are two BB Reports per episode, with the exception of episodes 5, 7, and 8, which had none.
This “man on the street” style of news reports was probably captured by a 2nd Unit. They filmed footage for these reports as well as some of the other “interstitial” shots that show views around the City, which makes it equally easier and harder to find some of these locations. There are some other shots in these reports not documented here because they are too generic to identify with any confidence.
Episode 1 – Report 1
GREENWICH VILLAGE – This is looking west on W Washington Place from Washington Square Park. This image shows up again as an Interstitial image in episode 5.

ASTORIA – Crosswalk. Three shots from the same corner. The first looks south, and the other two look north. This crosswalk is on 31st Street crossing over Astoria Boulevard North underneath the BMT Astoria Line.
