The Defenders take the captured Sowande to a dilapidated theater to question him about The Hand’s motivations. Matt is forced to put the Daredevil suit back on as he utilizes ‘enhanced’ interrogation techniques. But it’s Stick that finally concludes the discussions–by decapitating the African warlord.

The Paramount Theatre in Stapleton Heights, Staten Island, served as the location where the Defenders interrogated Sowande. It was opened in 1930 and remained a working venue until the late 1980s when it finally shuttered. An old palace-style movie theater, it is known as “the second most prestigious theatre on Staten Island next to the St. George Theatre.”
