Elektra picks up Matt outside Metro-General Hospital and shuttles him to a Roxxon Gala. Later, they take the Limo from the party back to Matt’s apartment.
Anytime cars drive around the city in these Netflix shows, it’s a crap shoot. Sometimes you can see outside the windows and make sense of where the characters are, and sometimes you can’t. Here, there are at least a couple of indications of where the scenes were shot.
Pick Up
Matt is supposedly collected outside Metro-General Hospital, but the production chose to film at a different location. Matt gets into the limo outside the Europa Cafe (also known as Café Europa), which was at the corner of W 57th Street and 7th Avenue. This corner is currently the Carnegie Diner and Cafe. Carnegie Hall is visible over Elektra’s left shoulder, outside her window.

Drive to Gala
The info dump that Elektra provides Matt as they drive to the Gala occurs while traveling west on W. 57th Street. The iconic red awning of the Russian Tea Room appears first, followed by the lights of Carnegie Hall, and then the iconic neon of the Brooklyn Diner.

Return from Gala
The shorter trip home is also filmed on W 57th Street, but a little further East. A big red 9 (which appears to look more like an ‘e’) can be seen over Matt’s right shoulder. This signifies 9 W. 57th Street, and is located right in front.
