Establishing Shot

A quick shot in episode 3 shows the exterior of Anvil Studios before jumping inside to Whitney’s dressing room.

This vintage newsreel footage is of Republic Studios, a film studio located off Radford Ave in Studio City, now known as the Radford Studio Center.

Soundstage

In episode 2, a brief scene of Whitney filming her new film “The Woman with the Golden Face” (a nod to Whitney Frost’s alter-ego in the comics, Madame Masque) on a soundstage was shown. This is presumed to be a soundstage at the home studio of the production.

Front Gates

In Episode 7, Whitney gives a stirring speech announcing that her dead husband, Calvin, and three others were tragically killed at sea. This press conference occurs at the front gates to the Anvil Studios lot, just outside Stage 6.

In reality, the gates were set up for the episode, as this was filmed at the Pocket Park at Universal Studios, Hollywood.
