If I may, it seems Los Angeles has rather agreed with you, Miss Carter.
Season 2 of Agent Carter made use of the Universal Studios backlot, especially around Courthouse Square (the Back to the Future square).
The sets included the Aurebach Talent Agency, a Gas Station, some miscellaneous streets, a phone booth, and a Donut Shop where Jason & Peggy stop, the SSR Facility that Dottie escapes from, a London Street, and the big showdown at Stark Pictures in the final episode.
Auerbach Theatrical Agency
Peggy’s first stop in town is at the Auerbach Theatrical Agency, which is the front for the SSR office in Los Angeles where Rose and Sousa work.
This facade is located on New York Street just west of Brownstone Street.
Gas Station
Late in episode 1, Calvin Chadwick and Whiney Frost pay off the police officer who shot Detective Henry outside of a neon-lit gas station.
The gas station is on the northwest corner of Courthouse Square in Universal’s backlot.
Street & Alley
In episode 2, Peggy and Jason evade some thugs following them from Griffith Observatory by driving into town and ducking into an alley.
The car turns the corner from Phoenix Place onto Courthouse Square at the gas station and then ducks into the alley between Wall Street and Brownstone Street in Universal’s backlot.
Phone Booth & Doughnut Shop
The duo attempts to make a phone call, but needs to get change from the racist man working at Bullock’s All Night Doughnut shop.
The phone is situated on the southwest corner of the Courthouse Square park, with the doughnut shop being just opposite Courthouse Square at the corner of Wall Street on Universal Studios’ backlot. They also witness a car turning from Wall Street onto Courthouse Square.
Rosemary’s Clothing Store & Alley
In episode 6, Peggy helps Dottie escape an FBI prison, disguised as a clothing store, then stops her in an alley next door.
The clothing store, Rosemary’s, is on the west side of Courthouse Square, with the alley directly north of it, by the gas station above.
London, England
In episode 8, Thompson meets with his pal Nick Driscoll on a foggy London street and gets his hands on a redacted report from the war.
The pub is located on W. Village Street at the southwest side of the backlot.
SSR Alley
Episode 9 has the heroes gather around a van in the back alley, outside the Auerbach Talent Agency.
This alley is actually outside the location for the Theatrical Agency on Universal’s backlot.
Goodbyes
Peggy says her final goodbye to Jarvis before heading back to New York.
The farewell takes place on New York Street at Brownstone Street, where the theater is playing “Midnight Nightscape.”
