Jessica follows Malcolm into the park, where she discovers he makes daily reports to Kilgrave in exchange for a fix. Later, Jessica and Will use this scenario to attempt to capture Kilgrave.

The production filmed this sequence in Union Square Park, named after the “union” of two major New York Roads, Broadway and the former Bowery Road – now Fourth Avenue.
