The Retreat – Fury’s Cabin | MCU: Location Scout

The Retreat

In Season 2, Skye is placed into “The Retreat,” a cabin designed by Nick Fury for housing the Hulk, and for a while, even Steve Rogers. In Season 5, Daisy picks up Robin and Polly Hinton from the cabin where they’ve been in hiding. The establishing shot in this episode is the same as the one used in Season 2 (above).

The Pine Lake Cabin at the Golden Oak Ranch was used for these shots, but only the exterior. The interiors of the cabin were filmed at the Culver Studios soundstages.

Woods Outside Cabin

Likewise, nighttime shots of Skye escaping the cabin and injuring Agent Calderon also appear to have been filmed on the Golden Oak Ranch property.
