Apartment Complex

The majority of this episode takes place in Portland, Oregon, where a cellist that Agent Coulson was involved with (prior to his death in The Avengers) works for the PDX Philharmonic. An establishing shot of an apartment building above is a stock shot, but not from Oregon. It turns out it is from a town called Vaxjo, Sweden.

The interiors below were filmed at an actual, but unknown, location, not on a soundstage.

Park

The Agents arrive just in time to protect Audrey, claiming to be with the CIA. This sequence was filmed at night somewhere in Griffith Park. There is a sign behind Audrey (very hard to see) that indicates “no cars” and matches the signage around the park. The exact section of road has yet to be found. If you recognize this, please feel free to write in.

The final showdown between the Agents and Blackout happens in a theater. The El Portal Theatre, in North Hollywood, was used for the interior shots.
