Half of the climactic final Battle of Sokovia takes place in the church and town square, which were filmed at the Metropolitan Police Training Centre outside London. The other footage was shot in the Aosta Valley of Italy with only three of the principal actors: Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Elizabeth Olsen (Wanda Maximoff) and Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Pietro Maximoff).
