Masked Man Foils Robbery.
One of Spider-Man’s first public acts of heroism is to stop a robbery at the Ling Deli (named in the spiraling newspaper that follows).
The Deli was filmed on the Warner Brothers backlot in Burbank. The Street View below shows the Liquor store exterior that was used for the Deli.
For the shot of Spider-Man swinging towards camera, a plate of Fifth Avenue at W. 45th St (just outside the Fred F French Building, left) had a digital Spider-Man inserted as a cutaway.
