Somebody save my baby!
On Thanksgiving Day, Spider-Man arrives at a burning building, and saves a mother’s child before leaping back inside to save someone else. Unfortunately, it turns out to be the Green Goblin in disguise.
Of all the major action sequences from the film, this is the only one that was actually filmed in New York. According to Cinefex 90 it took “two weeks to pre-rig the building with fire bars.” They also added a fireproof façade to the front of the apartment on W 83rd St., so the production was able to actually use real flames and not damage the building.
