Episode 5 introduces audiences to the backstory of FBI Agent Benjamin Poindexter, aka Dex, aka Bullseye. Several short moments take place in his apartment, number 131, showing his highly structured lifestyle.

Episode 8 features Daredevil sneaking into the apartment from the rooftop, where he meets Agent Nadeem. The two of them discover that Dex is the person who dressed as Daredevil and killed the people at the Bulletin.

Based on some crazy lighting and camera movements in episode 6, it was assumed that Dex’s apartment was built on a soundstage. It’s possible that there was another version of the space, but episode 8 makes it clear that this is an apartment at the Chelsea Court building on 9th Avenue. The fire escape that Matt descends is on the back of the building, and the other apartment that Nadeem and Matt enter–which appears to be a building next door–is actually part of the same building.
