Schoonover kidnaps Karen at gunpoint, having her drive along a dark road. Frank crashes a pickup truck into the car, injuring Schoonover, who Frank then drags into a tool shed and kills.

These dark woods will likely never be found. They are most certainly near the location of Schoonover’s house, and possibly located in the Sands Point area of Long Island.
