Fisk Neighborhood, New York | MCU: Location Scout

It’s usually right around the time you know the story’s getting interesting.

Ben Urich finds a vintage 1970s photo from Hell’s Kitchen and discovers a “Vote Bill Fisk 3rd Council District” sign in one of the windows, which leads him to the next piece of the puzzle.

Turns out that this image is actually a vintage image of Hell’s Kitchen published on the blog Ephemeral New York in December 2012. It’s the storefronts at 677, 679, and 681 9th Avenue as they appeared sometime in the 1970s. Unfortunately, no actual Bill Fisk signage appears in the original image.
