Much of the 7th episode takes place in the courthouse where Matt, Foggy, and Karen are tasked with defending Frank Castle, aka The Punisher. The scenes take place on the 4th floor of the courthouse in a courtroom, the hallway, and a bathroom. The exteriors of the courthouse appear in the following episode as the various lawyers get some fresh air.

The climax to this storyline occurs in episode 10, where Castle’s lawyers are called before DA Reyes to hear her side of the story, just before she is brutally gunned down. There is also a scene in episode 3 of Karen coming to talk with ADA Blake Tower in his office, which also appears to have been filmed in the same complex.

The Bronx Supreme Court played both the interior and exterior of this courthouse. The interior of this same courtroom also appears as the “County Courtroom” in Season 1.
