At the end of episode 4, as Jessica searches Sallinger’s apartment, he is somewhere else in town, murdering someone named Bart. At the beginning of the following episode, Sallinger packs up his equipment (and the body) in suitcases and heads casually out.
As there are few details to go on, and the fact that this sequence is extraordinarily brief, Bart’s apartment was most likely filmed on a soundstage.
