Buck suggests to Daniel that they go get a hot dog, and suddenly find themselves driving out of town – seemingly to murder Daniel.
This driving sequence was a little tricky to discover, due to the out-of-focus and rainy backgrounds. It was filmed along Rte 59, near Rte 304, in Nanuet, NY. The first time a parking lot is seen outside Buck’s window (above), the car has just come out from under an overpass. This is westbound Rte 59, just before Smith Street, looking into the south side of the park & ride. A shot out the front window on Daniel’s side shows a stoplight. This is presumably the light at Smith Street on Rte 59. Later, the car passes another parking lot while Buck gives the quote at the top of the page. This is also the Rte 305/59 Park & Ride as seen from Smith Street. The other driving shots were presumably filmed in the same area, possibly on Rte 304 as well.
