The Northern Star

The cargo vessel Northern Star heads for the freeport in Red Hook, when Daredevil boards, taking out many gun-toting henchmen and discovering the true cargo–weapons!

The boat, which is a digital model, travels underneath the Brooklyn Bridge, coming to a halt just offshore from the Brooklyn Bridge Park at Pier 1. The interiors of the cargo vessel were filmed on a soundstage.

Daredevil forces the captain and first mate of the ship to scuttle the vessel, barely making it off as the boat sinks into the relatively shallow East River.

Later that evening, Mayor Fisk arrives to look at the damage caused by the “masked vigilante,” and orders the salvage of the ship and its cargo.
