After racing out of Jessica’s building, The Whizzer runs along the sidewalk with Jessica close behind. He runs under the construction awning, when it suddenly collapses, impaling him. Jessica’s new building superintendent Oscar, and his son Vido, observe from the opposite side of the street.

The characters head north on West End Avenue, making the left turn onto W. 100th Street. The collapse of the scaffolding occurs very near 310 W 100th Street.
