There’s a reason they call them the Locos.

In a flashback, Robbie takes Gabe along one night as he heads to a street race. Things go horribly wrong for both of them.

DRIVING

Trying to track down filming locations at night is difficult. After exploring places near the Reyes House location and also the 4th Street Bridge crash from below, I was about to give up. But in looking at the other locations used for this episode, I noticed that they were all filmed around the JWPCP in Carson. All the footage for this driving scene was on S Figueroa Street between W Lomita and W Sepulveda, outside the Pollution Control Plant.

FIREBOMBING

Robbie pulls up at a signal behind a van. When the light turns green, the doors of the van open, and the driver throws a Molotov cocktail at the black Charger.

This sequence started at S. Anderson Street at East 4th Street. The Charger makes a left and speeds off over the bridge.

BRIDGE CRASH

Robbie attempts to race away from the van, but another car catches up and the passenger shoots both him and Gabe just before the car loses control and flips.

The production filmed this stunt on the 4th Street Bridge with the car heading west towards downtown.
