Daisy hops on an Orange Line bus, where she meets up with Yo-Yo. The two exchange information (and some pills for Daisy’s broken bones) regarding a stolen weapon and a new serial killer.

The bus picks Daisy up just outside Jim’s Burgers, at the corner of 1st Street and N. State Street, and then heads west.

BUS RIDE

The bus ride seems to take Daisy from Los Angeles into East Los Angeles, but in reality, the bus is driving back and forth on Pacific Coast Highway in Wilmington, just west of Long Beach.

The sequence opens with the bus driving east on PCH just past Eubank Avenue. The rest of the footage occurs between the CA-1 Viaduct on the west side and North Blinn Avenue (where the bus turns a corner) on the east side. Some notable buildings include Lupe’s Auto Sales (now closed), the Coast Food Mart, Rolling Tires & Wheels, and the Wilmington Service Station (currently a Union 76).
