Fisk Acceptance Speech, New York | MCU Location Scout

Wilson Fisk has been elected the 112th mayor of New York City.

At the end of episode 1, Matt overhears the news that Wilson Fisk has been elected Mayor of New York City. Shots of television monitors showing his press conference occur throughout the remainder of the episode. At the beginning of episode 2, another speech comes from the new Mayor during the New Year’s Eve celebration in Times Square.

This screen below might have been downright impossible if it weren’t for the name of the restaurant being partially visible under the TV. This is Bing & Noodles on Sullivan Street, just south of Washington Square Park. A number of the brief interstitials and interviews from The BB Report (at least in the first two episodes of the season) were shot around here.

It’s entirely possible that the location I’ve tagged below is wrong, but this image seemed entirely familiar. That’s because there’s a brief sequence in Jessica Jones Season 1, episode 1 where she is riding in a taxi cab past different Midtown locations. This image just stood out. These are escalators in the Chase Bank lobby on 6th Avenue. A comparison shot to Jessica Jones is presented as well.

This quick shot is placed between shots of Matt and Heather outside her apartment. It’s possible that this was filmed in Tribeca, but there’s very little to go on.

Fisk’s New Year’s Eve address was shot from Father Duffy Square looking south through Times Square.
