Rooftop Search, New York | MCU: Location Scout

Come on, Matt, wake up.

After hearing reports of a shooter on the rooftops around the hospital, Foggy immediately begins ringing doorbells to get access and search the roofs. He eventually finds Matt, unconscious and bleeding, on one of the roofs.

Building 1

Foggy starts at a building, claiming he lost his keys. Gaining access, he sprints to the roof. This is 31 W 16th Street, just across from the hospital exit, and the street scenes just before this shot. The rooftop he investigates is the same rooftop used for all three roofs. It’s the combined roof of 3 & 7 W. 18th Street.

Foggy searches nearby rooftops looking for Matt before turning and running back to check another building.

The POV shots of Foggy’s frantic search look like the roofs in this area, but were shot a few blocks away, looking at the rooftop of 525 W 25th St from the rooftop of 526 W 26th Street, which was used later in the season as a roof Matt observes Elektra.

Building 2

In the second building, Foggy runs up a flight of stairs and is seen investigating the roof through the stairwell door. Both of these scenes were shot at 3 W 18th Street.

Foggy claims his child locked him out to get access to this third building. The roof is at the same location as the previous two (3 W 18th Street), but the front door is located at 2 W 16th Street, just down the block from the street scenes that opened the episode.
