JESSICA JONES SEASON 1

Jessica’s “friend” and lawyer (not necessarily in that order), Jeri Hogarth, is a partner at a large law firm based out of the Bank of America Financial Tower on 6th Ave and 42nd Street.

Interior

The footage inside the office appears to be filmed in the tower itself, with the shots in the Lobby looking South, and the shots in the stairs and hallway looking East. Based on a shot from episode 3 where the number “44” appears outside the lobby doors, the offices are on the 44th floor–unless this is just a suite number.

The show also features a couple of different establishing shots above the Bank of America Tower, which have been used in episodes 4, 7, and 8 prior to cutting to some action within Jeri’s office. The establishing shot (in the header, above) was filmed under the traffic light on the northeast corner of 6th at 42nd.

Jeri Hogarth’s Office

The scenes of Jeri in her office appear to have been filmed on a soundstage. It’s a very convincing setup, broken by the fifth image below (from episode 6), which has the camera hovering outside the window to Jeri’s office. Something that would have been impossible if these scenes were filmed at the actual BofA Tower.
