I’m talking about this gin joint out in the middle of no man’s land. You promised me you’d show me the base.

General Talbot meets with Coulson in an out-of-the-way bar, presumably still somewhere near Washington DC. It turns out it is a secret entrance to the Playground, SHIELD’s base, and they ride the seats of a booth down, similar to the way Ward got into the HYDRA base from the Cuban barber in Season 1.

The King Eddy Saloon on E 5th Street in Los Angeles was used for this bar. It was shuttered shortly after this season wrapped.
