Exterior & Interior
Peggy grabs a bite to eat at this self-service diner, which also has counter service. She becomes friends with Angie, one of the waitresses, and ends up moving into her building later in the series.
The New York street on the Warner Bros. backlot served as several locations for the first season of Agent Carter, including the exteriors of the L&L Automat. The interiors were either filmed inside this facade, which backs up against Stage 24, or were shot separately in a different soundstage. The images below are presented with shots from the aired television episode, along with a behind-the-scenes version prior to visual effects.

Alley Behind Automat
In episode 1, Peggy ducks out the back door into the alley after receiving a note. There, she runs into Howard Stark and his butler, Jarvis. In Episode 6, she flees SSR agents only to run into Thompson, and later Sousa, in the alley behind the Automat.
The tenement alley on the east side of Warner Bros. Hennesy Street backlot was utilized for both sequences.
