Agent May travels to Culver University to meet with her ex-husband, Andrew Garner, and get his assistance.

For the purposes of Agents of SHIELD, this is a different campus than was seen in the 2008 The Incredible Hulk. Obviously, Culver University has campuses in both Virginia and West Virginia (maybe not unlike the University of Phoenix, with campuses all across the country). The aerial shot, however, is stock footage from St Mary High School in Akron, Ohio. This same shot was utilized in the closing of episode 2 from Season 3.

Once again, the production returned to Occidental College in Los Angeles, this time outside Fowler Hall, to film. In Season 1, the campus served as the fictitious University of Ohio. The football stadium appears later in the episode as part of a Wisconsin school.

Culver University – Season 3

A quick insert at the end of episode 2 has Werner von Strucker getting a signature from Andrew Garner in order to join his class. An obvious move by Ward’s new HYDRA to infiltrate people associated with SHIELD. The shot in this episode is so quick and tight, it’s impossible to make out more of this location.
