The heads of HYDRA, including Octavian Bloom and Dr. List, gather at the opulent mansion and winery of Bloom to discuss moving forward, filling Whitehall’s vacancy, and destroying SHIELD.

The interiors of this ornate mansion might possibly have been filmed at one of two locations where the exteriors were shot. But it’s equally possible that the interior was filmed on a soundstage. It gets so hard to tell with interiors.

Winery Exterior – Day

Octavian Bloom takes a call from Bakshi while strolling outside his winery estate. This quick shot appears to have been filmed at the Malibu Wines estate, a winery in the hills of Malibu off of Mulholland Highway. A hat-tip to Seeing-Stars.com for helping with this.

Winery Exterior – Night

For the nighttime shots of Hunter arriving with Bakshi, footage was filmed just east of the daytime shots. The crew set up at the north entrance to Calamigos Ranch, an event venue also in Malibu, specifically erecting a gate at the intersection of Calamigos Rd. and Latigo Canyon Rd.

Interestingly, a brief shot below (4th image) shows this exact location on Hunter’s dashboard GPS. Later, when he puts the car in reverse (5th image), the GPS indicates that this insert shot was filmed on Van Buren Place near Lucerne Ave. in Culver City, just southwest of the Culver Studios.
