There’s a small station here that comes online whenever Kaena point’s feed goes down.

Coulson and his team fly to Australia in order to take control of a small satellite facility, the Western Australia Satellite Control Station, Building A, in order to search for the mysterious alien city from his dreams.

While there is a Laura Creek, Australia, the imagery here appears to be stock footage backgrounds of the Deep Space Network sites, which are positioned around the globe. They are located in Goldstone, near Barstow, California, near Madrid, Spain, and near Canberra, Australia, which is about 9 hrs south of this fictional station.

The interiors of the station were presumably shot on a soundstage, but may have also been filmed in any number of laboratory buildings in the Los Angeles area.
