The production shot this sequence inside the No. 3 Covered Slip at the Historic Chatham Dockyards. This interior has been used in other film projects, including Children of Men and The Golden Compass. Most recently, other parts of the Chatham Dockyards were used for the filming of Marvel’s Secret Invasion. This fictional boatbuilder is named after the director of this episode, Dan DeLeeuw.
