The leader of a group of Ranger Scouts is killed by a freak lightning occurrence while on a campout. The next morning, the Agents of SHIELD discover his body hovering in midair.

The campsite was filmed at Disney’s Golden Oak Ranch in Newhall. The ranch contains both naturalistic areas as well as rural and urban settings.
