I’m sending the gods a signal even they can’t ignore.
Khonshu creates an eclipse of the sun in order to get the other gods attention. Multiple shots of various Egyptian landmarks are used to depict this event.
The two mosques pictured below are Mosque-Madrasa of Sultan Hassan and Al-Rifa’i Mosque in the heart of Cairo.
A classic image of the Sphinx with the pyramids at Giza behind it also depicts the eclipse.
Later in the evening a bridge crossing the river Nile is shown, which is the same bridge seen in the header image above. It is the 6th October Bridge in Cairo whose name signifies the date of The Crossing, an Egyptian invasion of an Israeli town in 1973.
Finally, a shot appears after Marc and Layla leave Anton Mogart’s estate, showing them crossing yet another bridge towards a statue. This is the Saad Zaghloul Statue and the Qasr El Nil Bridge, just south of the 6th October Bridge, in Cairo.
