Kate’s family lives in a fancy penthouse in downtown New York City as depicted in 2012, during a retelling of the Chitauri Invasion (The Avengers), but is also seen in the present day where her mother, Eleanor, continues to live.
While the rooftop design for the building is a little different than the building actually is in real-life, the Bishop’s penthouse is located at 480 Park Avenue. From here, young Kate watches Clint “Hawkeye” Barton stop a kamikaze Chitauri speeder, and leap off the top of 120 Park Ave, as depicted in The Avengers.
