Shaun and Katy leave their friends John and Soo at a bar and wander through this alley wondering why everyone is so down on them for parking cars for a living.
The scene appears to take place in San Francisco, but was filmed in an alley in downtown Sydney, Australia–the location of the studio filming for the movie. The signage makes it appear that the location is called Garanzini and is located at 152 Howard Street. Unfortunately, there doesn’t appear to be any 152 Howards Street in San Francisco, and the name of the bar is taken from the last name of Mara Garanzini, the Art Director assistant on the film.
