Peter stops in at Delmar’s Deli-Grocey, his favorite neighborhood bodega at 21st St and Borough Avenue, to buy his sandwiches. The trailer for the film depicted the name on the awning as the “Apu-Sansar” Deli.

This corner, with the Deli and the Bank, which is located diagonally across the intersection, was shot in Atlanta at the junction of Peachtree St. SW and MLK Jr Dr SW.
