UNIDO, Vienna | MCU: Location Scout

One hundred seventeen countries have come together to ratify the Sokovia Accords.

The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (aka UNIDO), is where 117 countries got together for the Sokovia Accords ratification, and Black Panther’s father, T’Chaka, was killed. This is an actual location in Vienna, Austria.

UN Building

While the UN building is a real location in Austria, the production chose to film this sequence in Berlin. This Sony Center building served as interiors and exteriors for King T’chaka’s talk in front of the United Nations.

UN Building Explosion

The Sony Europe Limited building is the one seen exploding at the bombing of the UN. Natasha speaks with T’Challa amid the chaos of the emergency teams in nearby Henriette-Herz-Park.
