The opening moments of the film see Thor joining his compatriots in a battle against marauders in the realm of Vanaheim. The wooded world is portrayed by Bourne Wood, which marks the second appearance of this location after Captain America: The First Avenger. It will also be used in Avengers: Age of Ultron.
