President Ellis boards Air Force One with Iron Patriot. while he assumes that it is James Rhodes in the armor, it’s in fact Savin in disguise. Wilmington, NC International Airport was used for shots of the President boarding Air Force One. The airplane was digitally inserted onto an empty tarmac. the ladder people and vehicles were the only elements on set.
